May is Brain Tumor Awareness month and BB&B wants to help spread awareness and raise support.

From now  till the end of May, we will donate $25 of every online registration to the Children's Brain Tumor Foundation (www.cbtf.org)

STEM and ISTE Exposure to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) and the International Society for Technology Education (ISTE) standards will play a vital role in a child’s journey to career and life success. The Bits,
Bytes & Bots curriculum is aligned with these models.

Hey fellow LEGO lovers.....This opens March 17th and WE CAN'T WAIT For a limited time you can buy tickets in advance and save $7 a person!! Tickets can be for any day.... not just opening weekend. We bought ours for April 13th!

I read an article about this guy in the Aug 2011 Brick Journal. He is 19 and started creating brick films 5 years ago. He is really good!! Here is one of his creations posted on his site.

FYI - this is a clean film language wise but of course I haven't viewed all his movies so I can't verify any others.

Teachers needed for 2011-12 school year.  We are currently looking for enthusiastic, high energy instructors that enjoy working with children and technology to join us at Bits, Bytes & Bots. You will be responsible for teaching students ages 8 and up such courses as LEGO Mindstorms robotics, game creation, stop motion movies, computer animation and more. Training is provided but you should have experience with children and be knowledgeable about computers. We are actively seeking at least one instructor that is proficient in their knowledge of the LEGO NXT Mindstorm robot.

We have openings for both morning and afternoon classes.  You must be able to commit to the entire school year.

If interested, please contact us.
Must be 18 years of age or older. This would be perfect for a college student, or someone looking for some extra pay.
